For his sophomore outing as a director, actor, writer and director Jon Favreau (who went on to direct Iron Man and The Mandalorian) took on this festive comedy starring Saturday Night Live alumnus Will Ferrell.
Ferrell stars as Buddy, a human raised as an elf by Santa Claus (Edward Asner). When Buddy discovers he isn’t a real elf, he heads to his birthplace, New York City, in search of his biological family. The film also stars James Caan, Mary Steenburgen, Zooey Deschanel and Bob Newhart.
This firm favourite at Curzon returns for our special Christmas Eve screening.
