O Brother Where Art Thou + LIVE Music

We are bringing the Coen Brother’s odyssey back to the big screen for a very special music + film night. The film known its bluegrass drenched soundtrack with more banjo-plucking earworms than you can shake a soothsayer at. In the Deep South amid the depressions of the 1930s, a trio of convicts – led by the suave, fast-talking Ulysses Everett McGill (George Clooney) – escape from a chain gang and set out in search of treasure. Their journey home sees them cross paths with many oddities, among them sirens, a cyclops, a lynch mob, and a blind prophet, who warns the trio that the treasure they seek may not be the treasure they find… We will be joined by Bluesgrass band ‘The Hogranch’ for live music before the film, time to get those toes a tappin’.
