Passions

Starring
Ludovic Tézier and Jamie Barton, Adele Thomas’s energetic staging sets Verdi’s
tale in a Hieronymus Bosch-inspired universe of medieval superstition. Antonio
Pappano conducts Verdi’s dramatic score, which features the famous ‘Anvil’
chorus.
