Presented in collaboration with Clevedon Litfest, we’re delighted to host David Olusoga for an in-person conversation and book signing. David is a British Nigerian historian author, presenter, BAFTA winning film-maker and Professor of Public History at the University of Manchester. As a recipient of both the British Academy’s President’s Medal and the Norton Medlicott Medal For Services to History, specialising in the history of the British Empire and how we experience its lasting effects in modern society, David’s expertise and knowledge of a subject which feels pressingly current will produce fascinating historical insight and context to where Britain finds itself today.
The evening will be hosted by author, journalist, and screenwriter, Nikesh Shukla.
