Sunday 13 Nov 2005: Having been a Patron of the Curzon Cinema for a while, this was Terry Gilliam's first chance to visit and take a proper look around. A quick pause in the doorway to sign autographs was followed by a tour of the building including the Oak Room, the balcony, the old projection box with it's historic equipment, and a sudden outbreak of candyfloss. He entered the auditorium to the strains of the Monty Python theme tune on the organ, played by Simon Martin, and the film commenced. Following the film, there was a spirited question-and-answer session, with Dave Sproxton of Aardman interviewing Terry. We look forward to welcoming him back on future occasions.
