Nanny McPhee: An Audience with the Director, Kirk Jones

Kirk Jones, the director of Waking Ned (PG, 1998) and Nanny McPhee (U, 2005) joined us for the opening of Nanny McPhee's run at the Curzon. After being greeted by Jon Webber, our manager, he and his parents had a behind-the-scenes tour of the building before the film.

After the film there was a lively question and answer session. Kirk had spent the day at Backwell School, where he originally studied Drama and which sparked his interest in film and media. Backwell staff and pupils were in evidence in the cinema, and asked Kirk many well thought-out questions. Unfortunately we can't tell you here which part of the film is Kirk's least favourite - he made us promise not to!
