Brian Crewe
Brian is a retired teacher and became a trustee in 2004. At present he chairs the Community and Education Group. He is a part - time projectionist and operates the Covenanting Scheme.

Cathy Mackerras
Cathy is a freelance community arts/theatre practitioner, with 30 years experience of community arts, education and outreach programmes. She became a Trustee in January 2007, formally elected in October 2007.

Andy Darvill
Andy has taught Science at local schools, and writes material for educational websites. He also happens to be our webmaster, and has been a member of the Cinema Board since 2005. Formerly a TV cameraman, he has experience of sound and lighting systems, and is a part-time projectionist.

Ruth is a freelance heritage and community advisor, with over 15 years experience of working in the conservation and heritage industry, much of that time in the National Trust and on Heritage Lottery projects. She became a Trustee in 2010..

Pippa is currently a full time mother and previously had a number of positions in arts, community health and charity campaigning roles.

Hilary Neal
After a long career in the Civil Service covering policy administration in a wide variety of fields at both national and regional levels, Hilary retired in early 2011. She has been involved with the Curzon as a Trustee and Director since 2004 and is currently Chair of the Management Board. She is developing other opportunities for active citizenship post-retirement.

John is an Actuary, and currently Chairman of the Raising Standards of Pensions Administration charity. He became a Trustee in January 2007, formally elected in October 2007.

David Hendey
David is a commercial solicitor practising in Clevedon and Bristol and has lived in the area for most of his life, He remembers being taken to the Curzon as a child and sitting in the balcony and his personal ambition is to see it reopened.

David qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and now is owner manager of a firm of solicitors specialising in employment law. He is married with 2 children and joined the Board of Trustees in 2011. |
