35mm Powers No. 6 Cameragraph

Catalogue number 202

1909. Received in an altered condition this Powers No. 6 has been restored and given a suitable lamp house to match. It is displayed to represent an earlier Powers which would not have had take-up facilities for the film which, after projection, was ‘caught’ in a bag suspended below the projector.

It is a working projector and, with the addition of a turning handle, demonstrates how projection took place during the first years of the 20th-Century.
