The model 2 had a Maltese Cross movement for the intermittent which was an improvement upon the previous models which had a ‘beater’ movement. Produced with the institutional, educational and home market in mind these projectors had 1000ft. spools, and the mechanism with the Maltese Cross provided a minimum of flicker.
It has a low voltage lamp with a special optical system which offered maximum light without fire risk. Pictures could be presented up to 20ft. It is adaptable to domestic light supply(1914) and was available for just 95 shillings (£4.75). To go with this projector was the availability of the Butchers film library.
