The LUX was a big improvement over its predecessor the BABY. It capacity is increased to 300ft. spools but it stall had the ability to show and rewind the smaller Cassettes with the geared rewind.

The Lux had a greater light output (hence the name) with a 40volt 50watt lamp via a resistance. Another feature is the centrifugal shutter which protected the film from the heat if the motor slowed. The ‘notched’ title facility is included. A very collectable projector, now rare, due to the short time of availability mainly due to it being expensive at around £30 . 1932
