PATHESCOPE GEM 9.5mm
A British designed machine not sold in France. Production
began as WW2 was declared so it was delayed until after
hostilities.
Using a 12v. 100watt lamp high intensity illumination
was achieved by an eccentric pin drive to the cam which
provided 63% more light transmission. It has a 900ft reel
capacity. The lens is a little wanting. Having twin claws
minimised any film damage. 8mm and 16mm versions were
manufactured. 1948
