The Coronet Camera Co. of Birmingham
first produced a projector in 1936 but realised the need
to make a much improved model. The Coronet is a somewhat
simplified version of a Pathescope KID and comes with
the capacity for 300ft spools as well as the 30ft. and
60ft. cassettes.
The intermittent is sprocket
driven by a Maltese Cross which has ten slots. The lamp
is 40volt 15watt. Later versions had a more powerful lamp.
The resistance is self contained. Production of this model
stopped in 1940 and never resumed. 1937
