PATHE BABY 9.5mm
The Baby projectors were the first produced by Charles
Pathe and Pierre Continsouza for the new 9.5mm film gauge.
The projector is designed to accept 30ft and 60ft. cassettes
but later attachments were available for reels.
It has ‘notched facilities’ for halting the
projector on captions and titles therefore economising
on film. The model shown has a motor fitted which came
as an accessory as did a colour wheel, a dynamo, a picture
enlarger and a device for showing stills. Various lamps
were available for this machine. It was produced for the
Christmas of 1922.
