Curzon Collection: 8 mm projectors

Front to back

KODAK 8 8MM SILENT PROJECTOR
One of the first models to come from Kodak when they introduced their Standard 8 format. Little more than a toy this projector provided many a happy hour for young cine enthusiasts of the day of whom some became quite famous. With the Standard 8 camera it opened up a whole new world for amateur film makers.

EUMIG Mark 8 Standard 8 SILENT PROJECTOR and EUMIG P8 PHONO Standard 8 SILENT PROJECTOR
Two projectors from the 'Wizards of Vienna'. The P8 PHONO projector was a very useful projector as it has a device whereby using a reel-to-reel tape recorder it was possible to record your own sound track to a silent picture with a presentable degree of synchronisation.

BEAULIEU Super 8MM Semi - Professional SOUND PROJECTOR.
A very sophisticated Super-8 projector. Top of the range for the amateur film maker. It was well designed and coming from the long established French manufacturer. In addition to the usual features found on Super 8 projectors this model has a comfortable 250 Watt light output and superb high grade optical and sound performance. The base of the projector is shaped like a console and houses all the sound and mixing controls needed to produce sound tracking on the 8mm magnetically striped film.
