KALEE 8 INDOMITABLE 35mm silent

The Kalee 8, as others, was marketed with the indomitable label. It came either with a front shutter or a rear. This machine has a front shutter which is three-bladed. The projector was easily adaptable for the new Photophone optical sound system though this example is a silent machine.

There were various stands and accessories for the 8’s. this projector however, when retrieved from oblivion, comprised only of the projection head, spool boxes and lamphouse. A special stand was constructed for the projector and the lamphouse converted to filament lamp. It is presently in full working order. 1928
