Very much an educational tool,
film strip projectors were used as well as and in place
of slide projectors. Their usefulness was simply that
a whole subject could be contained on a strip of 35mm
film print and projected frame by frame. Film strips also
found favour with the addition of sound tracks via tape
or even disk. Museum pieces now having been replaced by
later visual technology and film strips are very much
sought after by enthusiasts.
