Curzon Collection: 16mm Kodascope B

Manufactured by Eastman Kodak of Rochester, NY this projector has the ‘grasshopper movement’ and a three-bladed shutter. Light output is 50volt 200watt lamp but illumination is by reflection which diminishes output slightly. The model B’s claim to fame is that it is the first 16mm self-threading machine and that it was designed to show film in the Kodak three-additive colour process. 1927
