An interesting developed after
WW2 by Carpenter & Richardson of Wembley. Its claim
to fame is that it is operated similar to many American
machines, on the left hand side. Perhaps this was why
it never became overly popular but it is a good machine
with a 1000watt lamp and good optics. 1600ft. capacity
it has a voltmeter above the lens mount. The sound/silent
control is a knurled knob which is screwed in for the
silent speed. 1950
